Emily Batts, Founder and Editor-in-Chief
Emily Batts is a rising junior at Norfolk Academy in Norfolk, Virginia. Her interest in politics and conservatism began once she entered high school. Emily is specifically interested in how international politics affect domestic issues. Currently she is the Junior Intern of her International Relations Club, an active member in Model UN, and a member of Girl-Up. Recently, Emily was elected Junior Editor of her High School yearbook and also is a member of the Community Service Board. Emily's passion for conservatism grew her sophmore year, once she truly realized how synonymous her beliefs were with the conservative platform. Through THE CONSERVATIVE CONSTITUENT she hopes to use her passion for conservatism and activism, to inspire and educate others.
Madeline Shook,

Madeline Shook is a rising junior at Cape Fear High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Madeline participates in Beta Club, AIG, Keyclub, and is apart of DukeTip. She also is an athlete, participating in swimming and cross country. Although Madeline is not as involved in political activism at her school, she is interested in pursuing advertising in college. Through our social media platforms, Madeline hopes expand The Conservative Constituent's demographic of viewers.
